The calm, organized and elegant design of these premises expresses the multi-national success of the company and provides an ideal working environment for all the executives and personnel.

The solution

Temporary office space: SPGI assisted Transocean with the research and lease negotiation of temporary office space while their new building was being built. SPGIwas asked to provide comprehensive project management expertise to identify and understand their vision and coordinate all the partners to translate this into a high quality design and premises that met all their expectations and was delivered on time.

Project Coordination: These headquarters required not only detailed and expert coordination of the project and all the partners including international architects and a general contractor, but also the organisation and integration of local and international resources and skills, diverse materials and sophisticated computer and audio-visual equipment. Construction and fit out control: Acting on behalf of the client, SPGI project managers constantly oversaw and drove the project towards the fixed objectives. This required multilingual and transnational coordination skills, continual reporting and verification of works progress as well as cost engineering and billing control. Specific needs: The offices must act as a nerve center for a global company. The premises required state-of-the-art tele-presence rooms, an executive board room, and an office configuration that allowed close coordination between employees while ensuring confidentiality and high security.

The result
